How very horizontal this motel is! Two odd things -- people seem to be congregating in the parking lot (lower right), and the parking lot seems to be paved in some tread-dissolving substance. Either that, or there's a very thin layer of snow on the lot.
By the way, these are really good quality scans, Jan. Scanning postcards can be tricky, if you don't get the resolution just right. What resolution did you use?
Hmm. Other odd things: all the cars appear to be the same model, which was apparently made in only 4 colors. There is a "W" in the lower right parking lot and the lower portion of the lot is dusky. The pavement does look frosty, but there are also swimmers at the pool. Curious indeed. I'd stay away from there if I were you.
I use an HP Office Jet G85 for my scans, which scans at 150 dpi and 24-bit pixel depth. When you consider that, it seems odd that I didn't win best family blog, doesn't it?
