There she is: Skipper. Angi asked us about our favorite toys and this is one of my favorites. I liked Skipper's flat feet and straight body. Barbie was just plain embarrassing to me, but Skipper was a girl's girl. I could imagine picking berries and digging up clay with Skipper. Skipper would catch crickets and explore the woods. Most definitely. Skipper was my girl.

But, were you aware of "Growing Up Skipper?"
She was a little odd and very disturbing. My cousin Shannon had one (of course). If you don't know of what I speak, do a Google search and be glad you never saw one in person.
Angi L.
If memory serves me right, there was a pregnant Skipper, too. She came with a little baby in her tummy and when you took the baby out her tummy would go flat.
I think my mom tried both of the disturbing dolls on me. Neither one of them liked to collect grasshoppers and geods, though.
I liked Skipper too.
The Barbie I had looked just like this woman at my church. Short curly brown hair...I just could NOT stand to 'play' with the likeness of a church lady.
