Me in my crazy quilted dress. I was sure to crop this photo so you could still see the awesome shag carpet (orange, green, yellow AND brown!) and the groovin' macrame planter my mom made. Posted by Hello
Hey! I'm pretty sure that looks like the same fireplace that shared the family room with that wonderful old player piano -- is it?? (for the record, I always loved your house -- it was WAY more cool than my boring traditional house) :-) Every now and then, whenever I see an old upright player piano, I always think of you Jan -- and I remember your playing the theme from the movie "The Sting" -- what ever happened to that marvelous musical wonder?? -- meg
My mom sold that piano and bought me a lovely low upright that I still have today. We certainly did have a "cool" house. It had all the latest fashion, primarily in avocado green, harvest gold and brown. There were mushrooms and owls, we had a great record collection and a full liquor cabinet. Quite the party house.
Of course, I was a more vintage style model and probably would have fit in better at your house.
