Blair,
be very very careful. This is an evil trap. First Jan does a meet & greet, & pretty soon it turns into a stalking situation. You run into her at the Infantry Museum (pure coincidence), then she shows up at the Clydsdale ranch (missed us by a day or two), she 'bumps' into Lovely Wife at a scrapbooking function, and then starts with the badmouthing/name-calling on my own blog.

My cover has been blown. I was waiting for the perfect opportunity to share my insight, but my lack of shoe knowledge has held me back. Jan, you are funny, weird and delightful - never boring! I promise I will try to be more of a participant and less of a spectator.

Whenever I plan to comment on this blog, I come across pictures of shoes that take me out of the mood. I end up envisioning my foot in one of those pointy little things.
I read, but use bloglines and combine that with being in a hurry and I don't comment as much as I should! But I want to be a pepper, too!
