I have just found some hilarious old valentines here. Go take a look and don't take a drink just before scrolling down or you'll have to clean your keyboard.

It is time for the Valentines! This year I decided to include the collector's notes. For those of you who are new here, this is my third year to share valentines from a scrapbook I found in a junk store. The book is almost exclusively valentines and they are organized by year, beginning with 1948. Enjoy!

When Spencer Grows Up:
1) He'll have a 'Colden' Retriever (Colin said, "Not if you're living in THIS house!")
2) He will marry Alex
3) He will live in this house with all of us (including Colin's wife and children)
4) He will have two children (I tried to talk him into 4, but he won't budge)
5) His children will be named Elliott Post and Lamp Post.

Today's Tidbits

Spencer: "Do you know what I'm going to do when I grow up? I'm going to fly an RF-22 Raptor!"
Me: "Wow. That will be awesome."
Colin: "Well, I think Jesus has bigger plans for you."
Spencer: "Well, the Raptor goes two-hundred-fifty-fifty-hundred miles per hour. That's fast!"

Heard Around
Spencer: "Mommy, can I stay up early tonight?"

Colin: "Mommy, you're the best mommy, even though sometimes it seems like you're the worst mommy."

Spencer (in his car seat holding the Valentines he made for his classmates): "Wow! Look at all of my beautiful Valentines."

Colin (2 hours after receiving his new Speedstacks): "Mommy, it was kind of more exciting when I got my Speedstacks than now."
Me: "Why? What's going on now?"
Colin: "Well, now I already have them."
